SEC greets launching Sharjah 2022 census project

Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) held its weekly meeting on Tuesday morning, headed by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of SEC , and in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of SEC.

 

The meeting was held at Sharjah Ruler’s office, to discuss about a set of government work topics in the Emirate of Sharjah concerned with the performance of government departments, the development of legal legislation, and the follow-up of work progress in various vital projects.

 

The council greeted the launch of the Sharjah 2022 census project, which aims to support the process of comprehensive development plans by accessing comprehensive data on population, buildings, housing and other data that support the Government of Sharjah.

 

SEC directed all government departments in the Emirate of Sharjah to provide the necessary support for the Sharjah 2022 census project

 

The council issued decision No. (25) of 2022 to amend decision No. (17) of 2018 on regulating social jobs in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the decision provides reducing a number of special fees accompanying the decision.

 

SEC discussed proposal for the celebrations of the Emirate of Sharjah on the 51st National Day, which includes organising a set of various events that celebrate the UAE achievements  , where the celebrations will be organised over 10 days in all cities and regions of the emirate.
