SEC APPROVES NEW BATCH OF HOUSING SUPPORT BENEFICIARIES

Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) held its weekly meeting under the chairmanship of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.

At the meeting, being held on Tuesday morning at the office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, a wide range of general topics were discussed, focusing on the progress of governmental work in the emirate. The participants also reviewed the progress of various development projects in cities and regions, with the aim of achieving their goals and promoting a better quality of life and social cohesion.

The council has recently approved a new batch of housing support beneficiaries in the Emirate of Sharjah. This initiative is part of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who aims to provide suitable housing for citizens and enhance family stability. The approved batch includes 1,300 individuals who will benefit from this housing support.

The new batch includes 700 grant beneficiaries and 600 loan beneficiaries. The housing assistance is designated for various purposes, including new construction, obtaining government housing, mini residential units, completion, maintenance, additions, and demolition and reconstruction. This batch encompasses beneficiaries from all cities and regions across the Emirate of Sharjah.

The council has given its approval to the project regarding the organisational structure of the Sharjah Finance Department. This is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance and develop the organisational structures and foundations of various governmental departments and authorities. The aim is to ensure that these entities can effectively keep up with the growth and expansion they are experiencing.
