The Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, led the Executive Council meeting on Tuesday morning at the Ruler’s office. The session, attended by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, delved into crucial government matters to fortify the government’s operational framework, enhance service standards, and advance ongoing developmental projects that positively impact the quality of life. The meeting also emphasised the importance of fostering social cohesion.
Among the decisions made, the Council approved amendments to Law No. (5) of 2014 concerning the regulation of the Police Sciences Academy in the Emirate of Sharjah. These amendments align with academic and scientific advancements, along with fostering administration, research, and the overall improvement of the educational and training system.
The Council directed the draft law to be submitted to the Consultative Council of Sharjah to complete the legislative process.
Additionally, the Council gave the green light to renew the contract of the Roads and Transport Authority for providing luxury vehicles through electronic reservations using smart applications. This decision, in accordance with the franchise system, also involves the incorporation of additional systems to elevate service levels while ensuring user privacy and safety.
