His Excellency Advisor Dr. Mansour Mohammed Bin Nassar

H.E. Dr. Mansour Mohammed Bin Nassar serves as Chairman of Sharjah Government Legal Department and Legal Adviser to the Government of Sharjah. He chairs the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah and the Higher Committee for Sharjah Consultative Council Elections. Alongside his government responsibilities, he lectures in constitutional law and political systems at Sharjah Police Science Academy.

His Excellency is a member of the Permanent Executive Committee of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Higher Committee for Human Resources in the Government of Sharjah. He also serves on the Boards of Trustees of the University of Sharjah, Al Qasimia University, and Sharjah Maritime Academy, in addition to his membership of the Federal Legislation Committee and the National Election Committee.

Throughout his legal career, His Excellency has contributed to organising and administering the first local parliamentary elections held in the UAE, establishing the Sharjah Social Security Fund, and advancing the legislative framework at both the emirate and federal levels. He also contributed to the establishment and organisation of the Arab Parliament for the Child in cooperation with the League of Arab States. His published works include Causes of the Termination of a Public Employee’s Service through Non-Disciplinary Means in the United Arab Emirates, The Legal Framework for Federal National Council Elections, and Election Campaigns in the United Arab Emirates.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in law, a master’s degree in public law, and a PhD in Public Law from the University of Sharjah.
