Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired, on Tuesday, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of SEC, the weekly meeting of SEC.

The meeting, which was held in the Ruler’s Office, discussed a number of topics on its agenda to follow up on the most prominent developments in government work and plans to develop services in various government departments in the Emirate.

SEC reviewed the semi-annual report of the work of the Higher Committee for Human Resources in Sharjah. The report included the most prominent outcomes including the study and issuance of many decisions and circulars, and the resolution of complaints of legal grievances.

SEC approved exempting a number of projects supported by The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Foundation (Ruwad) from half of the fees from government entities in Sharjah.

SEC issued a decision regulating the rental of holiday homes in the Emirate of Sharjah. The decision stipulates that all rental of holiday homes activity must be authorised by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.
