His Excellency Abdulla Ali Al Mahyan
His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al Mahyan serves as the Chairman of the Federal Affairs Office in the Emirate of Sharjah, facilitating coordination between federal and local authorities. He oversees the management of correspondence received from federal authorities, directing them to relevant government agencies in the emirate and establishing policies for handling incoming correspondence. The topics under his supervision include federal laws, decrees, decisions, and various projects that benefit the emirate. His Excellency also supports the Sharjah Government’s interests across a spectrum of topics submitted to the Federal Affairs Office.
Prior to this role, His Excellency held distinguished positions, including Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, Chairman of Sharjah Healthcare City, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University Hospital in Sharjah, and membership in the Supreme Committee of the Sharjah Healthy City Program and the Sharjah Age-Friendly City Program. He played a key role in establishing the emirate’s healthcare system and promoting foreign direct investments related to healthcare.
During his tenure as the Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, His Excellency witnessed the signing of memorandums of cooperation with the Ministry of Health in the Republic of South Korea, Singapore, and the European Chambers of Commerce.
Efforts by His Excellency and the members of the Supreme Committee have led to Sharjah being recognized by the World Health Organization as the first Arab city designated as both a healthy city and an age-friendly city. Abdullah Ali Al Mahyan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance and Banking, from the United Arab Emirates University.
