His Excellency Engineer Ali Saeed Sultan Muhammad Bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi

Beside chairing the Department of Public Works (DPW), H.E. Engineer Ali Saeed Sultan Muhammad Bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi is a member of the Urban Planning Council, a member of the Sharjah Service Steering Committee, and a member of the “My City is Getting Ready” initiative. Previously he held a position as a member at the Supreme Committee for qualifying the Emirate to be part of the Global Network for Age-friendly Cities and a member of the Sharjah Updating Building Regulations committee.

H.E. has been awarded the Best Contractual Manager Award from the Arab Engineers Federation and the MEED Projects Award in 2019.

H.E. Al Suwaidi holds a B.A. degree in Science & Civil Engineering and an M.A. degree in Business Administration from the Higher Colleges of Technology – Dubai. He attended several training programs, the most notable of which are: the Leaders Preparation Program (Sharjah 2008), and the Project Management Professional Program (PMP) / AUS.
