Chairman of the Districts Affairs Department

Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqer Al Qasimi holds the position of the chairman of Districts Affairs Department since mid-June 2022, after he served as the manager of the same Department for seven years (2015-2022), and before that he held the position of a senior executive in Commerce & Tourism Development Authority (2009-2015).

Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi contributed to awarding the Department the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work at its sixteenth session in 2018, for the category of “The best government agency for volunteer work”. He also oversaw the formation of the Department’s organizational structure in 2015, as well as the formation and renewal of district council memberships.

Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqer Al Qasimi holds Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in E-Commerce Management – Higher Colleges of Technology.
