Her Excellency Dr. Khawla Abdulrahman Al Mulla

H.E Dr. Khawla Abdulrahman Al Mulla is the Chairperson of the Family Affairs Authority in Sharjah, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and Board Member of Trustees of Sharjah Education Academy, University of Sharjah and Al Qasimia University, in addition to her Chairperson of Advisory Board of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Sharjah University.

H.E AlMulla had previously served as Chairman of the Consultative Council of the Sharjah Emirate (2015-2019), and was also chosen as a member of national supervisory team for the National Strategy for Motherhood and Childhood (2017-2021) and strategic plan to promote the rights and development of disable children (2017-2021) and its update for the period 2022-2026.

H.E AlMulla is one of the women’s leaders active in the field of family, children, education and community work, and previously chaired the Sharjah Committee to host the Arab Child Parliament, in addition to her membership in BOD of the Marriage Fund and the Higher Committee for the 2015 Sharjah Census. She also chaired the student jury for the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence for four consecutive sessions, and worked to arbitrate and discuss many doctoral and master’s theses at the University of Sharjah.

H.E AlMulla holds a PhD in Sociology, specializing in Policies and Development, Master’s degree in Applied Sociology/ Specializing in Family Counseling and Social Work, in addition to a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Economics, and holds several diplomas in management, leadership and total quality. She has won Sheikh Khalifa Award for Teacher and Oscar Award for Pioneering – Jordan.
